Chloé Déchery has been giving lectures in Drama and Performance Studies in Nanterre University in Paris for 4 years.
Chloé Déchery also gives creative workshops in performance both for artists and in schools.
For artists, she can provide workshops in developing solo practices and performance material, which can be booked alongside a performance or separately. Solo and group exercises, creative writing, discussion and feedback are devised and facilitated to help artists at any stage in their careers unlock their creative side. The work is most of the time studio-based, combining movement work, text, and theatrical images.
Chloé Déchery is open to other ways of collaborating with universities and institutions: residencies, presentations of performances alongside workshops, post-show talks and lecture-performances, developing and running new modules in collaboration with course leaders.
Since 2008, she has been working with educational theatre company Freshwater, providing storytelling sessions in French in primary schools.
